Below is a diagram that demonstrates the proper position for a slip-leash on your pet! 

• Too low on their neck gives them momentum against you and will lead to more pulling (much like a harness)!

• Putting the leash in the middle of the neck results in coughing/choking due to the leash sitting directly on the dog's trachea and can lead to harm over a long period of time

• The top of the neckline (just below the jawline and behind the base of the head) is the correct position for this leash!
